Meet the Triple A Team

The Triple A Learning team will be happy to help you out with selecting the appropriate workshops or resources to help support you in your teaching. As IB and online learning specialists we can help and advise on professional development and the appropriate use of technology in an IB classroom. Andy Beharrell (Technical Director)

Andy Beharrell worked for nearly 20 years teaching economics and business studies at various schools in the UK and Australia. For most of that time he was a Head of Department. His final teaching post was at Clifton College in the UK as an Assistant Director of Studies from where he was seconded for three years to the Institute for Learning and Research Technology (ILRT). He moved permanently to the ILRT for a further two years as the Project Director for the Biz/ed (http://www.bized.co.uk) website. When he left in 2002 the site was receiving over 3 million page accesses per month and has grown significantly since. He left to set up Triple A Learning in 2002. Triple A Learning is a unique provider of e-learning based curriculum materials for IB schools for both the Diploma Programme (DP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). Since 2005 Triple A Learning has been working closely with the International Baccalaureate (IB) to help provide online professional development workshops.

Andy is responsible for the development and management of the various systems Triple A Learning use, including Moodle, Mahara and Joomla. He also helps manage the development of the Triple A Learning online resources for DP and MYP.

Tim Cunningham  (Development Director (MYP))

Tim Cunningham is an experienced international teacher and administrator having worked in a range of national and international schools in the UK, Greece, Portugal, Italy and the Middle East. A graduate Biologist, Tim taught Advanced Placement, A Level and IB Higher and Standard level science courses, along with MYP subjects over a 24 year period.

Tim worked for a 3 year period in the International Baccalaureate Organization’s Curriculum and Assessment Centre in Cardiff, Wales as a member of the MYP team. Following this short period out of schools, Tim returned to schools as an administrator ending his school-based career as Director of International Schools of Italy, SRL, a group of PYP schools based in northern Milan. Since leaving schools, Tim undertook a project for the MYP as a consultant, authoring the guide MYP: from Principles into Practice, 2008 and developing the very first online MYP workshops. Tim joined Triple A Learning in 2009 as Development Director for MYP-based resources and workshops. Tim is currently finishing up his Masters studies in International Education.

As a specialist instructional designer, Tim manages the development of MYP online learning resources and also the MYP IB-approved workshops offered by Triple A Learning.

Paul Clark (Development Director (DP))

Paul has been involved with Business and Management since 1985 when he worked at UWC in Singapore and the subject was still called Organisation Studies. He has been a teacher of B&M, Economics, TOK, Psychology and Geography and has been a Director of IB in the UK. He has examined for the IB since 1991, becoming Chief Examiner in 1995, and is still principal examiner for the HL internal assessment. He co-authored the IB Business and Management Companion textbook for OUP. He joined Triple A Learning in September 2009 as Development Director (DP)  and  workshop mentor. He lives in Dorset, UK.

Carolyn Weller (Resource Development Manager (DP))

An experienced project and people manager, Carolyn has been involved in Education for many years managing the provision of bespoke applications and web development services to specifically improve services to schools, pupils and parents.  Carolyn joined Triple A Learning in 2008 to manage our online workshop provision but now oversees the development and production of our online resources for DP as well as managing some of our e-learning projects.  In particular Carolyn is closely involved in the IB's Bridge to Success project to support teachers and improve access to the Diploma Programme.

Cherie Nugent (Online Workshop Manager)

Cherie manages the provision of the IB-approved online workshops offered by Triple A Learning.

Wendy Bolton (Resource Manager)

Wendy manages the marketing for Triple A Learning as well as the administration and update of our Customer Relationship Management system. She also helps with the development of the online resources offered by Triple A Learning.

Anne Mossman (Finance Officer)

Anne is the finance officer for Triple A Learning and handles all invoicing and management of the financial systems.

Ben Reeves (Instructional Designer and e-learning developer)

Ben has 10 years experience in the design and development of web and e-learning resources and has responsibility for the ongoing enhancement and customisation of the various online systems employed by Triple A. He also designs and produces e-learning materials for a range of subject areas.
